Aortic aneurysm is the enlargement or ballooning of the aorta which is the main vessel arising from the heart.This blood vessel carrying blood to the entire body causes danger when it reaches a diameter of 4.5-5.5 cm according to age, gender, family history, and accompanying diseases. Surgical intervention in this period may prevent the risk of sudden death that may result from laceration.
