Classical management of uncomplicated deep vein thrombosis is oral anticoagulant treatment and compression stockings .Advanced clinical pathalogies involving major venous stractures such as femoral vein or vena cava inferior, can either be treated with the use of endovascular methods or open surgery .In our clinic this blood clot can be removed whith a special type of catheter and the remaining stenoses , if any, can further be managed by balloonplasty and stent placement . Life threatining pulmonary emboli should be immediately treated where as deep vein trombosis should be managed with in the first to weeks.
